There is a lot to learn about our school on this website but here are some key facts that will give you a quick insight into our work.
We support around 400 students.
Our team works in partnership with schools and social workers to ensure the educational progress and attainment of all Barking and Dagenham’s looked after children.
Our experienced team is made up of qualified teachers.
We support all our children – both those who live in and outside of the borough.
We allocate a specific amount of the Pupil Premium Plus (PP+) grant to schools every term, and they can request additional funding depending on the needs of the child.
The PP+ grant can be used to meet agreed targets for the looked after child, or for training staff who support other children including looked after children.
We are the first virtual school to secure the Jack Petchey Award, which enables schools and youth organisations to celebrate their young people’s achievements and receive additional funding.
We encourage and support all our young people to consider college and university.
