Foster carers are provided with training to help them understand how best to support the education of the children in their care. The Virtual School works in collaboration with the Fostering Team to provide training that equips foster carers with the skills they need to support the education of our Looked After Children.
Arranged by the borough’s fostering team and with education-focused sessions facilitated by Aspire Virtual School, the training covers a range of topics and is delivered by a variety of professionals. For further information, email Simon.Dodman@lbbd.gov.uk.
